Jimi La Pointe is an Oglala Lakota who was born in Wolf Creek, South Dakota and attended high school at the historic Red Cloud Indian School, almost attended Chadron State College in Chadron, NE, took an Associates Degree in Television Production at Oglala Lakota College in Kyle, SD, considered moving to Boston, MA, Los Angeles, CA and Lincoln, NE, traveled to Radcliffe, KY and the District of Columbia and then worked for Public Relations at Red Cloud Indian School, then came to Santa Fe, New Mexico for a while to continue his film degree and to live.
